can't cheat sleep. What you don't get in rest you'll pay for in diminished alertness,
poorer performance, drowsiness, and irritability. And you'll have to make up your
sleep debt anyway! Get into the habit of knocking off early (there are few things
in life that can't wait till tomorrow), get a good night's sleep (generally about
8 hours), and start the day rested, refreshed, and ready to do your best. Why
make yourself crazy?
Today's Health Headlines Previous Stress Tip Have small, intimate get-togethers. Big
parties are expensive, time-consuming and a heck of a lot of work. Even if you're
lucky enough to talk to everyone, it may only amount to brief, cursory snippets
of conversation. Big bashes can be fun, if you're not the one throwing it. Smaller
parties are easier to arrange, less work, less expensive, and leave lots of time
to enjoy your guests, who feel more special, too. Entertain fewer people...more
often. Why make yourself crazy?
