a gift, a source of pleasure, a time to relax and replenish. So why diminish the
experience by scarfing it down like it may be your last? This may take some doing,
but get into the habit of eating slowly. Chew deliberately and savor each bite.
Take frequent pauses. Give your body a chance to accept and digest the food, rather
than shocking and overwhelming it. And try not to think about finishing fast so
you can get to something else. This is what you want to be doing. So give each
repast the enjoyment and sociality it deserves. Why make yourself crazy?
Today's Health Headlines Previous Stress Tip Give good, unused clothing away. In your closet right now there's clothing you've hardly worn. How about that mistake purchase you made but are too proud to admit it? Maybe it's a style you're hoping might come back into fashion, a size you hope one day to fit into again, or clothes you've just grown weary of. Chances are -- be honest -- you're never going to don any of this attire again. So rather than clutter up your closet, give it to someone who could really use and appreciate it. It isn't easy to part with clothes, but if they're not doing you or anybody else any good, why hang on to them? You'll feel a lot better giving them away. Why make yourself crazy?
